Biography

I received a Facebook invite from Derek about a new CrossFit gym he was opening on Hefner and May, basically a mechanics shop behind Old School Bagel. The opening day workout was free to whomever came, I think it was deadlifts and running. I remember it being hot as hell and a really difficult workout. I also remember it being one of the best feelings I had ever felt after a workout, and from then on I was hooked. I signed up that day and have been with Homebase ever since.

My passion to coach comes from the fact that I love seeing people succeed. As a coach with anything, it truly feels amazing to have someone tell you that that thing you taught me has really helped them with this and that. It’s also a great learning experience for me as well, especially with talking to large groups of people.

Things I enjoy doing outside the gym are hiking, traveling, and golf. Golf is by far my most favorite activity. I love spending time (hours) out at the course improving my game and meeting new people. To be honest, if I spent as much time working on CrossFit as I play golf, I would be quite the athlete!
