Biography

Lindsay Mitchell, an Oklahoma native, grew up in Stillwater, OK and has resided in Edmond, OK since 2003, when she transferred to the University of Central Oklahoma for softball. Lindsay completed her bachelor’s degree in Exercise/Fitness Management at UCO and had the privilege to work with the UCO softball program as a graduate assistant coach while she completed her Master’s in Business Administration.

With experience in multiple sports, dance, and strength training, Lindsay is a lover of sports and passionate about health, fitness, and helping others. Her position as the Employee Wellness Coordinator at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center allows her to share and promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle with others. She has had the opportunity to coach, train, and interact with a wide array of individuals and enjoys the rewarding experience of seeing them succeed, grow, and transform.

Lindsay was introduced to CrossFit in 2011 and began at CrossFit OKC. She has also had the pleasure of spending time briefly at CrossFit Jenks and most recently Deer Creek CrossFit where she coached under Kevin Malahy for 3 ½ years. The unique community and family aspect of CrossFit, as well as the constant challenge, is what appeals to Lindsay and makes CrossFit HomeBase Central a great fit for her.
